Sample Web Copy and Video Scripts

Web copy should be easy to write, and it is. But, web copy that results in leads and sales…. Well, that’s a different matter altogether.

Most companies, if they spend any money at all on the Internet, spend the bulk of it on the design of their website. This is a mistake because people don’t call you because of the pretty pictures on your home page. They call you because you’ve said something that piques their interest. It’s the copy that matters.

The same goes for videos. Videos should be to-the-point and also interesting. A two minute video script is a lot harder to write than you think. Two minutes is about half a page of copy, believe it or not. The way the average person reads a script, it’s going to take a lot longer than you think to get all your points across. So, you’ve got to say it in as succinct a manner as possible and in a way that keeps their interest for a whole two minutes (a lifetime).
